The Interactive Sensing and Computing Lab focuses on creating transformative and scalable technology that makes a positive impact on people’s lives through innovations in electromagnetics, sensing, wireless communication, embedded systems, machine learning, and Human-Computer Interaction. We are an interdisciplinary team that tackles challenging research problems through innovations in both the hardware and software layers which we then deploy and evaluate in real-world settings. We collaborate closely with UM faculty in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the UM School of Medicine.
